Clarification of Terminology

In the interest of accountability and consistency, this contingency plan will clarify the following terms.

General Recommendations

Students are advised to following the following guidelines when traveling and gathering in large crowds. FBISD or Dulles HS cannot and do not enforce the following guidelines:

  1. If students feel ill with shortness of breath, congestion, or fever, they must stay at home! Students and/or parents should contact Coach Schwerdtfeger or Casasola if they need to stay at home due to illness.
  2. Students should bring hand sanitizer/sanitizing wipes. We cannot guarantee that the tournament will have these in supply.
  3. Wash your hands frequently for at least two minutes.
  4. Stay at least 6-feet apart from others where possible.
  5. If the student is medically at risk, they should wear a mask in public areas when possible.

DSD will never require students to be vaccinated nor ask for vaccine information. Some tournament require students to submit vaccine information. This is the only case in which students will be required to be vaccinated.
